Shooting at DalswintonThe shooting at Dalswinton is run by Newlands Estate which borders with Dalswinton. Newlands, over the past couple or years has combined its shooting with Dalswinton, Duncow and Blackwood estates to create one of the best pheasant shoots in South West Scotland. Run and managed by Andrew Duncan, the shoot can offer days of 25 up to 500 birds and the varied topography stretching as it does means that the shooting can cater for beginners up to the most experienced. The season starts in early October and runs through to the end of January.
